1.0.54 lands three days after 1.0.41 hotfix and is a combat-feel and input-flexibility pass. The headline items are the smoother Kisha wall-cling transitions, a pogo-bounce tuning round against five enemies, and the addition of mouse-button rebinding for the key-bind menu.

Version And Date

Version: 1.0.54 Hotfix

Date: 2026-09-10 (NDEV Steam News)

This hotfix follows 1.0.41 hotfix by three days. It bundles one platform-feel change (Kisha wall transitions), one combat tuning pass against five enemies, and one input-flexibility feature (mouse-button rebinding). The patch text also references “several bug fixes” without itemising them all; treat anything not explicitly listed below as community-confirmed.

Character Movement

  • Kisha wall-cling transitions are smoother. Previously, when Kisha touched a wall geometry while moving, the animation snapped into the cling pose with a single hard cut. The new transition fades over a few frames, making the cling feel like a continuation of motion rather than a discontinuity.
  • Wall-cling timing windows are unchanged — only the visual transition got the pass. Speedrunners who timed their inputs to the snap will find the new windows land at the same input-frames, just visually cleaner.

Combat Tuning

The pogo bounce — the upward bounce you get when striking downward on certain enemies — has been tuned on five enemies:

  • Sorr Warrior — bounce height and recovery frames normalised. The previous values were inconsistent between Sorr Warrior variants; the tuned values bring all variants in line.
  • Crimson Wolf Warrior — bounce window widened by a small amount. Players who could not previously chain a second pogo after the first now have a few extra frames to land the input.
  • Heavy Infantryman — bounce height reduced. The previous values could launch the player into hazard geometry in Elord Castle corridors; the new values keep the bounce in the safe corridor.
  • The Frost Wolf — bounce recovery frames reduced. Faster return to neutral state after a successful pogo, opening up combo follow-ups.
  • Sorron — bounce consistency normalised. The Sorron boss page will reflect the new values once player-verified numbers are in the content pack.

Exact frame deltas and pixel-height values are not in the public patch text. Treat each enemy’s wiki page as the running reference once community-verified numbers land.

Input And Controls

  • Mouse-button rebinding is now supported in the key-bind menu. Previously only keyboard and gamepad buttons were bindable; mouse side-buttons (and any mouse button that registers as a discrete input on the player’s hardware) can now be mapped to any in-game action.
  • Mouse rebinds persist across sessions and survive full reinstalls via the standard config-file location.
  • Players using Cabitz who relied on a mouse side-button for pogo input now have an officially supported binding path.

Bug Fixes

  • Several stability fixes — NDEV notes “several bug fixes” without itemising. The full text of the Steam News post lists a small number of crash-on-load edge cases and one save-file-corner-case where an over-100% Memory Fragment counter could trigger a soft-lock on the Return loop. Treat as studio-confirmed for the listed items, community-confirmed for any unlisted regressions in the patch window.
  • 1.0.58 Hotfix — five days later; Cabitz Black Husk wording, Cain Epilogue, indoor map, wall-stuck fix.
  • 1.0.41 Hotfix — three days earlier; controller floating-bind sync.
  • 1.0.38 Hotfix — six days earlier; inheritance + persistence pass.
  • 1.0.27 Hotfix — earlier hotfix; closes the Half Salvation Stone family of bugs.
  • Kisha — the wall-cling transition improvements will be reflected on this character page.
  • Sorron — one of the five enemies whose pogo bounce was tuned.
  • Walkthrough Hub — context for the pogo combat system and how it interacts with boss routes.
  • Elord Castle — where the Heavy Infantryman bounce reduction matters most in tight corridors.
  • Fatal Claw Updates — complete update index.
