Cabitz is Fatal Claw’s build customization system. The source pack calls it a mysterious magic stone that adds new abilities or customizes existing ones, and it notes that Engraved Skills can be customized or fused via Cabitz. It also ties the Fine-Tuned achievement to equipping Cabitz. What the pack does not provide is equally important: there are no confirmed socket counts, percentage bonuses, exact recipes, or best-in-slot rankings.
This guide therefore treats Cabitz as a decision framework. The right setup is the one that answers your current fight or route. A player stuck on Kurtz may need Blink-distance stability. A player exploring Lower Moss Cave may need route comfort around water and Jibanam context. A player entering Sealed Spire may need late-game consistency, healing safety, and a trusted Engraved Skill. Cabitz connects those needs to your abilities.
Cabitz Planning Table
| Build problem | Cabitz focus | Good use case |
|---|---|---|
| Claw pressure feels unsafe | Support basic attack reliability | Saitin, Mirkam, and other fights where short strings win. |
| Blink lands badly | Support positioning or recovery comfort | Ortrinde floating blades, Kurtz distance checks, hard boss lanes. |
| Engraved Skill feels necessary | Support skill customization or fusion | Reien’s Covenant, Silver Chain, or any counter skill you rely on. |
| Route cleanup is messy | Support movement and exploration comfort | Carox markers, old rooms, and post-unlock backtracking. |
| Healing runs out | Support survival habits and safer pressure | Long routes between checkpoints or bosses without easy recovery. |
How Cabitz Works With Abilities
Fatal Claw’s confirmed systems overlap. Mutated Abilities open traversal and attack options after absorbing infected. Engraved Skills counter enemy abilities. Blink moves Kisha behind enemies and also solves puzzles. Silver Claw and Kannium strengthen the basic Claw path. Cabitz sits above those systems as a customization layer.
That means a Cabitz choice should begin with a question, not a slot. What are you failing? If you die while trying to heal, a damage-focused setup might not help. If your Blink timing is wrong, a skill fusion will not fix the landing. If a route is blocked by water, you may need Meditation of Jibanam, not more combat power. Cabitz is powerful because it lets you tune the solution after you identify the problem.
Fusion Logic
The pack confirms fusion in relation to Engraved Skills, but it does not list recipes. Use fusion as a way to strengthen a skill’s role. Reien’s Covenant is wolf-related, so it belongs in builds that value companion or wolf pressure. Silver Chain belongs in Aphotic Marsh and late-game traversal planning. A general counter skill belongs in a boss setup when the fight repeatedly creates a specific threat.
Avoid changing every Cabitz choice after one death. Change one reasoned piece, test again, and keep notes. If the same pattern still kills you, the problem may be timing rather than setup. If a new setup helps you survive longer but not finish, then your plan is improving and needs refinement, not panic.
Boss And Route Examples
For Saitin, a simple setup is enough. You are learning Claw, Heal, and Blink. For Ortrinde, support clean movement around floating blades. For Irbes, support control when phase-two copies clump. For Kurtz, support Blink distance and short punish windows. For Enma, support counter timing and illusion discipline. For Nagaraja or Ain, support late-game consistency and route readiness around seals and Sealed Spire.
On the map, Cabitz can make backtracking smoother. When Dash, air dash, wall climb, glide, Lyani’s Claws, Blink, or Silver Chain opens new routes, an exploration-friendly setup can reduce friction while Carox markers guide you through old rooms.
